I want to switch gears here and share a great little video that rings true today than it ever has.

And It’s SUPER funny. It’s from a comedian named Louis C K, and you can watch it right here:

Ok you’re back? Let’s dive in.

In the video, he talks about how everything in today’s society is perfect (AKA Wifi on Planes, air travel, cell phones) but yet we always complain SO MUCH about the little things.

It’s crazy, but we can often forget what life used to be like before big changes found us.

Not only is this true in a broad sense like Louis C K is talking about in the video, but it’s also true when it comes to how we relate to others in life, and also with Tax Liens & Deeds.

Back when I started Tax Lien & Deed investing, I had to use a paper map to find my way to properties, and route out the distances by drawing on it, which GREATLY reduced the amount of properties I could see.

Think about that. Think about how time consuming that was.

And do you think there were people complaining about how hard it was then?

You bet.

Now we can download a list and input it into a GPS and it will tell us THE FASTEST WAY TO SEE ALL THE PROPERTIES…

Which literally saves hours and hours (hundreds of hours over the course of a year)…

Yet let me ask you this:

Do you think that there are still people who complain about how hard it is, and that it would stop them from ever going to look at a property?

100%

The simple reality is this: Life can be difficult, and it’s never going to be any easier, unless you can start changing the way you see the problems that arise.

In fact, it can change your life if you start thinking in solutions….

“How can I solve this challenge I’m having….What’s the answer to this tough question? How can I shift my mindset so that I begin seeing things differently….”

It’s crazy to think about how our great, great grandparents or older literally had to travel across land on horseback, donkeys or flat out WALK, and literally half of the people would die if you had to make a trip from one state to another.

And we complain about how little leg room we have on an airplane, AS WE FLOAT IN THE SKY!

I say all this because it’s a REALLY good reminder that life isn’t nearly as rough as it could be, and there is so much value in pointing ourselves and our minds towards the positive outlooks.

I know it’s a little bit cheesy, and I know it can be really tough at times to focus on that, but it’s necessary if we want to truly be successful.

It’s also necessary if we want to create a positive life and attract positive people that will help us grow.

There’s really so much that could be said on the topic, but I really just wanted to encourage you to start taking a deeper look at your “problems” and the problems you face everyday in life, but also with Tax Lien & Deed investing, and start thinking in terms of….

…”How can I find a solution to this problem”

I promise over time, it will change the way you see life, and change your life.

I hope this inspires you to take a closer look at how you can improve your thinking and begin to not take things for granted.
